HATCHES ALTUS AND MAGNUS

In addition to the long existing and well-known VETUS hatches, models Libero, Planus or Genius, VETUS has in 2009 introduced two other models, for "extra heavy duty" application, named Magnus and Altus. Like all other VETUS hatches, the aluminium profiles are hand-polished prior to being anodized. By virtue thereof, the surface is extremely flush, so that no dirt can accumulate in the polished-out pores. The patented handles of these hatches allow opening and closing from the inside of the boat or from the outside, but a built-in mechanism ensures a fully locked hatch when leaving the boat, even in the ventilation position.
